Seasoned Industry Experts
Alquimia Hospitality Group was founded in 2002 by Veronica Medina (Director of Marketing and PR – Les Roches, Switzerland), Pablo D’Onofrio (Hotel Management – Lausanne, Switzerland) and Juan Pablo D’Onofrio (Accountant – U.B.A. Argentina; Business Administration – U.B.A. Argentina; MBA – I.A.E. Argentina). The team has developed and managed projects for a wide range of companies related to the hospitality industry. We combine 75 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Our management team holds degrees in accounting, business administration, hotel management, marketing and engineering.

Juan Pablo D’Onofrio
Juan Pablo graduated as a Certified Public Accountant and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). After working in the corporate sphere for more than a decade he completed an MBA (IAE-Universidad Austral) and moved to the US. In 2002 he co-founded Alquimia Hospitality Group with a focus on hospitality management & development. He has served as President of the company since its inception.
Veronica Medina
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Veronica graduated at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management (Switzerland). After building her working experience in boutique hotels in UK, Switzerland and Argentina she advanced her studies in Marketing at the Belgrano University in Buenos Aires. In 2002, she co-founded Alquimia Hospitality Group, where she currently serves as Director of Marketing and PR. She also devotes time to Blue Lavender Cafe & Market, a new food and beverage adventure.
Pablo D’Onofrio
Pablo D’Onofrio grew up in the family hotel & restaurant business. Graduated from the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, he worked 15 years with Sheraton Hotels, acting as General Manager for their properties in Chile, Peru, Argentina and the Caribbean. Pablo also occupied the General Manager position at the Plaza Hotel in Buenos Aires and the Hotel Llao Llao in Bariloche in Argentina. He became county manager for Alquimia Hospitality Group in Argentina then moved to Miami as Director of Operations for the group. He currently lives in Buenos Aires and is a constant source of inspiration and consult to all.
Daniel Gil
Daniel graduated as a Civil Construction Technician from Havana University and completed a Drafting & Design associate’s degree in the ITT Tech Institute of Miami. Cuban born, Daniel immigrated to the US in 1994, where has accumulated a vast experience in every layer of the hospitality industry. He joined the managerial team of Alquimia Hospitality Group in 2012 and currently serves as the company’s Operations Manager and General Manager position for Nassau Suite Hotel.
Gaby Diaz
Joined Alquimia HG in 2021, worked through various roles becoming front desk clerk, then front desk supervisor, and ultimately General Manager for The Shepley Hotel. She brings her calmness, organizational skills, and love for hospitality to this position. She is currently working on her Hospitality degree.
Jorge Aguila
Started his journey with Alquimia HG in 2014 working through various roles and covering many aspects of front and back of the house operations.He is currently the General Manager for Leslie Hotel . He was born in Cuba and raised in Miami and is currently finishing his Bachelor in Applied Science in Leadership Management.
